Banana Bread

A delicious banana bread recipe, that is quick and easy to make. Enjoy with a spread of butter or honey while still warm out of the oven.

 125 g Butter
 ¾ cup Sugar
 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
 2 Eggs
 3 Mashed Bananas
 ¾ cup Plain Flour
 ¾ cup Self Raising Flour
 ½ cup Walnuts
 1 tsp Bicarbonate of soda

Heat oven to 150 deg C, grease and line a loaf tin

Using a mixer, cream butter & sugar together. Once creamed, add vanilla then slowly add one egg at a time until combined.

Sift flours and bicarb together. Then add the flours, mashed banana and walnuts to the creamed mix and combine well.

Put mix in prepared baking pan, bake for 45min or until a skewer comes out clean.
