Chocolate Layered Pavlova

Decadent chocolate layered pavlova, always a hit at any dinner party.

 6 Egg Whites
 1 pinch Salt
 1 ½ cups Caster Sugar
 1 tbsp Vinegar
 1 tbsp Corn Flour
 200 g Milk Chocolate
 300 ml Whipping Cream
 2 Punnets of Strawberries

Pre-heat oven 150 deg f

Mix egg whites with pinch salt, mix till they form soft peaks

Slowly add caster sugar mixing continually till sugar is dissolved, takes 10 min approx.

Add vinegar vanilla and cornflour, mix gently till combined

Line 2 baking trays with baking paper, dust with cornflour

Half pavlova mix between bases & make a circle on each base with mixture, place in oven for 1 hour

Leave to cool in oven for 30 min, melt chocolate, whip cream, wash and cut strawberries

Once pavlova is cooled, cover the base with melted chocolate, refrigerate till set

Place the strawberries on the chocolate base with cream, place the top layer on chocolate side down cover with cream and the remaining strawberries and grated chocolate
